Project description

The shape of our lunar rover is a blue rectangular prism. It is surmounted by a transparent semi-cylindrical cover. Being very heavy, it has six-wheel drive with tread in titanium dowels. It ensures proper grip to the lunar ground. The vehicle is also equipped with three solar panels for its power supply and for the handling of the mechanical arm. It has a drill shaped end to pierce the lunar reliefs and to extract samples of rocks. The samples will then be studied in the laboratory. Our project also provides a second lunar rover whose function is to pick up signals via an antenna and launch a satellite for the study of lunar rocks.
