Project Description

To begin with we created this base for the sake of science and also for the settlement of a Planet we named this base The Nordics to the fact that we will build it in the north of the moon. This project was specially created for ESA’s Mooncamp International Modeling Competition. We created a rather nice base.

we will build the base in the north because those where there is the most sun on the moon the more in our base this star is important because we use solar energy to create our electricity to make our base work and survive in space, because our base is called the Nordics

The base is constructed from titanium because it is one of the strongest materials to protect against asteroids that will strike the base. Silicon, for the component of solar panels to recover energy. Small space because made of metals. Alters and conveyor belts are made of plastics for lightness and ease of manufacture, transport and recycling. The chairs are also made of plastic. 
 

How we get water
We use a robot that is which is controlled by a human, this robot will go and extract the ice and bring it back to the base and we will melt the ice to turn it into water and then we will filter it to make it pure

How we source food
We raise animals like pigs, cows, hens and small fields to feed them and we will dry them even meat dry to better preserve food

How we source electricity
For electricity we will use solar panels on the moon, which will turn electricity into energy to use it on our lunar base to survive. To survive on the moon you need electricity

How we source air
We will need electricity, and our tree farm. We will need electricity, and our tree farm. We will clean the air then it will go into cylinders and we will use them

How our Moon camp will be protected. Our titanium walls are going to be super thick and very resistant to anything like asteroid meteorites and particles like that. For very intense temperatures we have great combinations to counter any temperature.
