Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2020-2021

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

We would call you guests and other places” and others, etc. The moon has no atmosphere, so there must be excellent protection. The resting place should be a dome and a protective wall so that the astonaut can rest safely in this camp. There will be about 4 rooms . Why only four, because if there were many more spaces, more matreals would be needed, and if more matreals are needed, it could be heavier. One of the smallest rooms would be a small toilet. The second smallest room would be a medical room, it could treat the sick or injured, and it would also have beds for the injured. The largest room would be a dining room. There should also be a table with food and plenty of water. It would be a kaliar for them now, which day to return to. It’s a lovely place to stay. Everthing would be made of light matreals so that the spacecraft could perform without any problems. And there will be a food reception station, an energy station and a science center.

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Close to the Lunar Equator

Why did you choose this location?

For how many food and what time the transport spacecraft, powered by a magnet, will be used to transport the necessary things, then there is the smallest distance between the Equators of the Earth and the Moon.

How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?

The base will be built using lunar surface rocks. Choosing a crater near the equator, deepening it and creating the ground floor, mixing rocks with a special binder that is cooked on Earth and brought back in compressed form, when the mass is released by her forming a foamy mass, mixing together with rocks that intrigue on the Moon form a cement-like mass, only lighter, with which the bottom and walls of the pit are covered. Once the first floor is created, plates from synthetic substance obtained in the laboratory using minerals found on the Moon are produced on the second floor of the Moon.

Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:
Water
Food
Electricity
Air

Water will come from ice, which can be found on the Moon’s cold pockets. The used water will be pur cleaned and reused.

There is a magnet on botht he Earth and the Moon and the one on Earth holds a launcher with food. These magnets should be very strong in order to ship the food very far, through space. The launcher should be made out of light and strong composite material that canbearthe oscillations of the temperature and vacuum out in the space.

My energy base will produce alternative energy, which is energy that does not harm the environment and produces it on a small scale. My energy base will be from solar energy. The main renewable energy source is the Sun, which can be used directly as solar cells or solar collectors. Renewable energy is obtained from naturally occurring (biological and nonbiological) process in the surrounding environment in a form suitable for technical application. My energy base has three solar panels that process solar energy into a solar collector then the solar collector releases energy

The necessary oxygen will be obtained from rocks containing various oxides. A laboratory will be created using technology to release and store oxygen, which will ensure breathing indoors. Plant oases will be created at the base, which will help produce oxygen for the breathing of astronomers.

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

At 7:00 a.m., the astronomer goes to the room containing the base control unit. Verify the data of all indicators and processes that have taken place overnight to perform the analysis and set the necessary settings for life assurance, the new working day.

Then go to the common room to pabrokastot and meet other astronauts. After breakfast, the astronaut goes to the lab to work on the study.

She instructed to create plants (mushrooms) capable of growing on the Moon and giving a harvest for food. In the first part of the day, the astronomer collects the obtained data from studies conducted in previous days. Makes notes, calculations, enters data into the computer.

12:00 a.m. lunch.

After lunch, go to the pilot underground garden. It works with experimental samples.

Finishes at 16:00 and goes to his room, rests after work. At 17:00, the astronaut goes to the library to read a book, seduction mates to play chess and watch a movie.

22:00 bedtime.
