Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2020-2021

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

this rover created by krishna vaibhav rastogi

this rover is made up of carbon body and over it the graphene coating preseto the incline slope with 5000 rpm.
nt this . this also have very power ful wheels with the gear and the silicon and graphene with really very high fictitious tire which can easily climb up
and 1 week long lasting batteries which charge by solar panel and nuclear reaction .

the area occupy with the rover is about 1m * 1.5 m and the base station on moon about is about 30m * 50m .

it also have a colorful camera with the the sensor like ir sensor , uv sensor , knock sensor , Electric current or Potential or Magnetic or Radio sensors, Humidity sensor, Fluid velocity or Flow sensors, Pressure sensors, Thermal or Heat or Temperature sensors, Proximity sensors, Optical sensors, Position sensors ,Photoelectric Sensors,Particle Sensors and many more like this !!!

the rover also have 2 hands ones on front and ones on right .

it also have 2 antenna and 2 radio frequency and microwave sound reader.

with artificial intelligence and s super controller and a remote controller. and the fuel and food maker.

this can also carry the astronauts to cover the distance from the base station to the destiny . this rover can tolerate the temperature of 3000′ celsius to -300′ celsius and have power to tolerate the vacuum too. and can be cotroll from earth easil and send the data at speed of 20kb/s .

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Close to the Lunar Equator

Why did you choose this location?

The Moon presents numerous exciting engineering challenges like crater and hills. It is an excellent place to test technologies, flight capabilities, life support systems, and exploration techniques to reduce the risks and increase the productivity of future missions with high and low temperature with tolerated with low level gravitanal . Our journey will provide us with the first experience of living and working on another world, with the extremes condition
allowing us to test advanced materials and equipment in the temperature and radiation extremes of space. We will
learn how to best employ robots to support human tasks, explore remote locations, and gather information in potentially hazardous regions. By successfully establishing a presence on the moon and prepare to explore rest of the solar system. but by selecting the equator it increase the long life time of over camp by medium gravity around 7.2 gravitational and medium temperature with access of water to with larger contact to the earth and increase the day time means more solar energy and shorter communication comparison to poles

How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?

basicly our base made up of carbon and the coating made of graphen which make the the substance very tough and rigid .

We decided to divide the base into permanent base and temporary base. The permanent base is built below the lunar surface and has an entrance above the lunar surface which also made upto 70% of graphen and left over will be cabon. It will be used as a place for researchers to enter and leave the base and live on a daily basis. There are the following characteristics below the lunar surface: 1. It is less affected by radiation. 2. The temperature difference between day and night is small, which is suitable for human and plant life. 3. The surface of the moon is more stable, and the underground buildings are less affected by meteorite rain.

Building a living space out of the Moon’s available resources makes sense. There’s the potential of using lava tubes, tunnels formed during the Moon’s volcanic past, as shelters with access to frozen water ice beneath the surface. But a more immediate plan is to build a habitat using lunar regolith, the fine dark basaltic grey sand that is similar to volcanic sand on Earth using volcanic powder to make bricks.

Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:
Water
Food
Electricity
Air

There is also the potential of thermal energy storage using a process similar to heat pumps. “On the Moon we don’t have convection as there’s no wind so the heat from the Sun stays in the regolith .“We could use a lens or mirror to focus sunlight onto the ground and use that resource to keep a base warm or to generate electricity.” TO RUN THE PUMP TO TAKE OUT WATER IF IT IS THERE OR .
we would rejoin the water by H and O .
we have on the Moon and during the night recombine it automatically by lowing temperature by – 200′ c at night.
Since evidence of water ice was detected at the Moon’s poles, and finally confirmed by Nasa in August last year, any moonbase is likely to be situated at these locations.
Oxygen within the lunar itself could also be extracted for breathing. The most likely source is ilmenite (FeTiO3) which, when combined with hydrogen at temperatures of around 1,000C (1,832F), produces water vapour, which then needs to be separated to produce hydrogen and oxygen.

we will install the compressibility feature where we will compress the food and also make our own food by 3d protein printing and the use the energy to make the edible compound.

POWER-New energy technologies will be key to living on the Moon. Fuel cells on Earth require a chemical reaction between hydrogen and oxygen (often from the air) to produce electricity, with water as a byproduct. While there’s no atmosphere on the Moon, the ingredients are there. with the nuclear power and the exothermic reaction . with the good quality of solar panel.
we would split the water we have on the Moon and during the night recombine it to produce electricity . by which we develop these new technologies. “During the day we’ve got a lot of solar power, probably excess to split the water into hydrogen and oxygen, so it’s a unique tool we could use on the Moon to sustain a long duration mission.”

Air- We know that there is nothing type of a gas present on moon but, “Who cares”we need only oxygen and nitrogen and such other types of gases for human survivor.
whichever is necessary for human life.
For that We need to transport such specific type of plants from earth to our camp which placed on moon successfully. But there is problem a portion of moon was covered by sunlight for 19 earth days after that. The night is began on moon’s initial surface. So,we can trap sunlight in those days when the sun is on and capture in battery n provide to our plants and plants can able to do photosynthesis and provide some helpful gases to us.

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

We know that we can successfully placed our base on moon with Rover and we are trying to understand the situation like Weather, Atmospheric pressure etc. We have already found the solution of Air ,Water,Food and power But that’s not all for survival of human on the moon so.

The astronaut which lives on our base can use the Rover and Send it for a journey for moon and command it.To send photos of all the weird and unknown objects or things our astronaut exploring things and observing carefully,in our moon base all types of things are present so.Astronaut should not have any technical problems (Expected).

After That It takes some food and observing
Surface of moon to made another base for more exploration on moon. Now after some time and hard work of our astronaut. He send all data to our main headquarters in earth. Finally We done it.
