Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2020-2021

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

We were inspired by the Vega Sta. Vega means fertile field in Spanish. It is the brightest star in the constellation Lyra. Our gool here is to pravide our astronauts with the best conditions in the most efficient area.

Our lunar camp started years before the astronauts came to live here. We covered our space with moon sand to protect astronauts from heat, radiation, extreme cold and meteors, we used insulating and radiation resistant materials. We established our camp in the region close to the moon poles and the sun receiving reggion the region. The reason for this is that we can get energy from the sun, water from the poles of the moon.

We covered the lunar camp with moon sand to protect astronauts from heat, cold, radiation and meteors. We used insulating and radiation-resistan materials.

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Close to the Lunar Poles

Why did you choose this location?

To collect and melt glociers from the pole of the moon to meet the water needs when needed, to obtain water and to provide sunlight to the solar panels to obtain electrical energy.

How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?

Our lunar camp began years before the astronauts came here. We used moon sand insulating and heat-resistant materials as material.

Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:
Water
Food
Electricity
Air

While our camp was being built, water was brought in by tankers and areas to increase it were also built. The water that we bring from the lunar poles with our special vehicle will also be purified and ready for use.

The other plants we grow will be used in the food field. It will also take conned food to astronauts.

The fuel used by the control capsule provised the helium, fuel cells and oxygen required by the engine. In shortit contributes to us in many areas. Electricity will be provided from here and the solar panels we install.

We have a greenhouse in our camp. Here, thanks to the carbon diroxide. We send to the plants, they produce oxygen for us. We seporoted the water into hydrogen and oxygen by electrolysis. Part of it for use in breathings.

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

The daily routine of astronauts is; they wake up early every day, eat, shower, meet their needs and start the day. Our astronauts do business between them. Firstly, someone gets in spacecraft to meet their daily waterneeds and collects as much water from the moon’s poles as their daily needs and then leaves them to melt. The other also checks and prepares food for lunch and dinner.

Then they go to exercise rooms and do their sports to keep their muscles and skeletons stranger and healtheir, which every Astron novelist in space needs to do. Then, if they are going to observe on research in space, they prepare in the dressing room and board spacecraft (rockets). They eat lunch during the day and when they arrive, its quite late. They satisfy their needs and eat because they are so hungry. These astronauts don’t have much free time during the day. For this reason, after eating the lost meal of the day, they. Because quite tired and get some rest in the break room. They sleep early to start to next day as first as ever and not be tired, sothat the day ends.
