Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2020-2021

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

We are a team of four girls, Melina, Anastasia, Eliasavet and Efthymia  Our school’s fith and sixth grade are building a Moon Camp. We started Tinkering face to face in the classroom and soon had our own classroom in Tinkercad.

We are going to collaborate and work in teams to live on the Moon. We are in charge of sypplying our Moon Camp with all the needed  supplies from Earth.

Lunar lava tubes

Why did you choose this location?

Lava tubes protect us from cosmic radiation and meteorites.

How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?

We use 3D printed materials by Space class 1 from lunar soil .
