Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

Our base and compose of 2 spheres the 1st the smallest it will be in the one where we will live there will be floors in order to optimize as much as possible all the space possible the house will also have a vegetable garden to be able to grow food and for the water it will be recycled and filtered from a system designed on the ground and brought to the bass there will be an airlock to enter so as not to lose air and not to let in the 1 door will be on the 1st sphere (the largest) and the 2nd door on the smallest The 2nd sphere will be tough so that we can open the windows it will also be tough to provide additional protection and it will be transparent so that you can enjoy the view from the windows if you are on the moon it would be worth taking the opportunity to see the views and not stay locked up.

How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

The biggest sphere will be transparent and more resistant it will make about 1.50 skinning so as to have the most resistant layer possible but too thick not to alternate the view.

For water we will have a recycling system designed on earth and bring it to the moon once the system arrives safely it will be installed underground and tiles will be connected to the bass and the vegetable garden.

We will have a small sphere in which we will cultivate crops for food it will be accessible by a large airlock connected to the main airlock the dome will be hermetic and transparent so that the sun’s rays are perceptible by the plants there will also be an automatic watering system from recycled water.

We will install many photovoltaic panel to produce electricity.

The 2nd sphere will be the sphere of life in which there is a small window, it can be opened because another dome protects from the toxic atmosphere, it will also have floors in order to optimize all the possible space as much as possible.

The 2nd sphere will be tough so that we can open the windows it will also be tough to provide additional protection and it will be transparent so that you can enjoy the view from the windows if you are on the moon it would be worth taking the opportunity to see the views and not stay locked up.
