Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Module 2: swimming pool, bathroom and toilet.

Module 3: gym, dormitory, canteen.

Module 4: greenhouse with algae pond.

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Shackleton crater

Why did you choose this location?

We want to build the lunar base near the Shackleton crater because there is ice at the bottom of the crater, so we planned to melt the ice to get water.

How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

We will use polyethylene 20 cm thick.

Water
Food
Electricity
Air
Protection

The water will come from the ice of Shackleton Crater.

Astronauts will feed on plants from the greenhouse and algae from the pool.

We use solar panels for energy.

We will use the algae and plants of the greenhouse.

We will use polyethylene 20 cm thick.
