Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022
In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

– Module 1 : Canteen, dormitory. – Module 2 : Research room. – Module 3 : Gym. – Module 4 : Greenhouse. A field of solar panels that produces electricity for the lunar base. The magnetic train will avoid problems with lunar dust. |

Shackleton crater Why did you choose this location?
We chose Shackleton Crater because there is ice. How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?
The base will be built with 20 cm of polyethylene. |

A greenhouse will be used to grow vegetables. |
Batteries will store the energy produced by the solar panels. |

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts
7am to 8am : Alarm clock. 8am to 9am : Breakfast. 9am to 10am : Scientific research. 11 to 12h : Lunch. 12pm to 3pm : Vehicular exit. 3pm to 4pm : Walking on the moon. 4pm to 5pm : Family communication. 5pm to 6pm : Earth observation. 6pm to 7pm : Lunch. 7pm to 7 a.m. : Sleep |
