Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

– Module 3 : Gym.

– Module 4 : Greenhouse.

A field of solar panels that produces electricity for the lunar base.

The magnetic train will avoid problems with lunar dust.

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?
Shackleton crater
Why did you choose this location?

We chose Shackleton Crater because there is ice.

How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

The base will be built with 20 cm of polyethylene.

One can recycle sewage and take ice in the Shackleton crater.

A greenhouse will be used to grow vegetables.

Batteries will store the energy produced by the solar panels.

The greenhouse and pond with the plants will produce oxygen.

20 cm of polyethylene will protect from the sun’s rays.
