Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

In our project, there’s big garage with 3 jeeps. The first one, is for short distance transport, the second one is
for long distance transport and, the third one is used for building purposes. There’s also very modern and
spacious living room, well-equiped labolatory, farm of cauliflower and mushrooms, couple of comfortable bedrooms,
great gym, huge and modern server room and, a few toilets and bathrooms.

Inside the base, there are several robots which are helping astronauts in doing multiple things,
for example lighting up dark areas (while repairing), holding tools, cleaning up after them or sending messenges
to other astronauts.

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Close to the lunar poles

Why did you choose this location?

The base will be placed near one of the Moon’s pole. We chosed that place becouse it helps us to communicate with Earth and continuous acces to sunlight enabling the production of electricity. It also helps exploration of both sides of the moon.

How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

The base build from light materials like titian or aluminium. In the next phase base will be build from moon resourses

Water
Food
Electricity
Air
Protection

The water will be produced from the ice drilled from the moon’s crust.

Food will produced from worm farms and vegetables like cauliflowers or mushrooms.

We will get electricity from solar panels.

Oxygen will be produced mainly by plants and also it can be produced from water.

We covered a whole base with scales.
