Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022
In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description
Our moon base is made up of a kitchen, with a table on which to eat, related to food there are two greenhouses on our moon base. Then there is a bathroom. In the bedroom, there are two beds, a sofa and a wardrobe for astronauts to store their special clothes. Finally, at the base there is a rocket, a lunar rover and a computer, so the astronauts can research if, for example, there will be storms the next day. And this is our moon base! |

Shackleton crater Why did you choose this location?
We chose Shackleton Crater due to obtaining ice to produce water and oxygen gas. How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts
Wake up at 6:45 am. Eat some tubers and drink water. Put on the special clothes and go check if the solar panels are capturing the necessary solar energy and go to the greenhouses to check if the tubers are growing and harvest if there are any ready to be eaten. Return to base and at 1:30 pm, have lunch with food produced in the greenhouses. Then rest for two hours. At 4 pm, train for two and a half hours. Then check the computer for storms the next day. Take a shower and go to dinner. At 21:30 go to sleep. |
