Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022
In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description
In my moon camp there is a room that serves as a dining room, bedroom and kitchen. This room has two passages, one leads to a laboratory and the other to a kind of farm where there are chickens and cows. On the outside there are ten solar panels to obtain electricity. Outside there is also a room where pasture and tomatoes are grown. We also have a space ship as a means of transport and some water and oxygen bottles. |

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?
Close to the lunar equator Why did you choose this location?
Because there will be better views of Earth and the weather will not be so cold. How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?
The modules of the moon camp are made in Earth and then are transportated to the Moon. The most durable and lightweight materials, such as titanium, aluminum and magnesium alloys. |

We will excavate and collect the frozen water. then with a big oven we will melt it. |
We will get our food from the chicken and cow farm and the vegetable fields. |
We get energy of solar panels |
We would get oxygen and we would store it in air cylinders. |
With the materials the camp is made of, we would already be protected. |
Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts
First I wake up and go to make a snack, then I go to feed the cows and chickens, then I go to water the vegetables, as I’m tired and dirty I go to the shower. Then it’s lunch time so I go to the machine room to analyze the samples I collected yesterday until it’s time for dinner and then I go to sleep. |
