Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

Our focus was on rockets .therefore, we have prepared a 3D design space camp where you will find a rocket shooting off, space station, astronauts and vehicles.
Rockets are the gadgets that produce the push, or force required to move an object forward. A rocket is required to launch anything and anyone into space. Therefore our rockets will be used to launch satellite and space shuttles into space. The rocket must provide the power to lift itself off the ground, and in a short space of time, use its power to gain the speed required to carry it away from gravity’s pull, and into space. A rocket cannot escape Earth’s gravity and make it into space unless it’s traveling at least 7 miles per second.so our design represent the development of a fast rocket.

From earth, we send astronauts into space on space rockets. Based on our designs astronauts will be working on a mission control and look at different techniques and the agendas that the group in space will use, help check the space station and vehicle programming since you can see on our designs we have a vehicle , create system and procedures to be utilized during spacewalks or mechanical.
We tried coming up with a design showing new infrastructures that can be developed to overcome certain challenges that can be faced by the astronauts in the space, such as protection from radiation and food production.

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

On the far side of the Moon

Why did you choose this location?

Our focus was on rockets .therefore, we have prepared a 3D design space camp where you will find a rocket shooting off, space station, astronauts and vehicles.

How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

We tried coming up with a design showing new infrastructures that can be developed to overcome certain challenges that can be faced by the astronauts in the space, such as protection from radiation and food production.
