Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

Our lunar base consists of several facilities. we have constructions in which astronauts can rest as
well as work or dedicate themselves to something else, a wintering in which we can grow our plants
to then cook them, we also have an area that provides us with energy and electricity to sustain us,
and finally we have our anti-meteorite shield and solar rays

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?
Close to the lunar poles
Why did you choose this location?

I have chosen this location because our lunar base needs water obviously, for this reason by
placing it at the north pole there would be the possibility of finding ice or even water underground,
providing a great advantage.

How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

We have planned to build the lunar camp dividing the different zones.
In the first place, one was in charge of the residents’ area, built with steel and armored glass, inside this we
coupled two beds and a nightstand. The second area is the dome which is made of armored glass with steel
supports on the ground to embed it. And the last area was the greenhouse which has several trees that
provide food, and a machine room this room is made of metal, glass, compost and pipes


The water would be exported in principle from the Earth, once established there the Austronauts
could create the water by joining two particles of hydrogen and one of oxygen. In another case, the
north pole could be useful for finding water.

Food is easily obtained, but it would only be fruits and vegetables which is what could be planted in
the greenhouse. Cultivated plants would bear edible fruits.

We get our power by the solar panels because they absorb the solar rays and it becomes into energy
and power for our lunar base

We get the air thanks to our shield that is able to generate a small atmosphere around us and thus
allow us to breathe

Thanks to our shield created by an antenna located on the ground we can be protected from the
sun’s rays and meteorites

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

At the begining of the day they get up and going to collect the fruits obtanied from the crops, then
they would go to look at the status of the facilities in the room connected to this one, finally they
would about the areas thanks to the omputers connected by satellite to check and analize the area
and they would finally eat and the rest of the day would be used to check the status of the capsule in
case it had suffered any damage
