Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description
  • Our goal is a research task that can bring to our lives in the coming years.
  • A research center that can make necessary observations and research; Our aim is to discover new planets and contribute to science.
  • First, we will bring our food from Earth. We will examine the moon and establish a living space for ourselves on the moon.
  • Secondly, we will grow crops that do not require much water by using the greenhouse technique.
  • At the first stage, we will have a team of two people in the research center we will establish.
  • We will establish the research center in the Tycho crater. The reason is that the interior has a high reflectivity, which is evident since the Sun is overhead, and the crater is surrounded by a ray system that creates long streaks reaching a length of 1,500 km.
Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Tycho creature

Why did you choose this location?

We chose this location because of its ease of access to the world.

How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

Kevilar is a material fibers of very light carbon origin. It has enough strenght to resisit bullets making it perfect for standing up against impacts from meteorites and space debris

Water
Food
Electricity
Air
Protection

WATER: We will get water by evaporation by putting a bag on the greenhouse.

NUTRITION: We will obtain fertilizer from waste, and we will grow vegetables like potatoes with this fertilizer.

we will generate electricity from the treadmill

we will produce the oxygen from the greenhouse

While articials remains of our spacecraft such as celesital objects or expired satellites can be detected and tracked using different imaging methods long term monitoring of small meteroit isnt possible .

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

Our astronaut will get up early in the morning. First, it cleans hands and faces with paper moistened with water. In the morning, he eats one of the cans for breakfast and enters the research center. He takes notes of every research he has done and its results and communicates it to the center in the world.

He does sports after eating. He continues to do research with his other friend until he reaches his goal. After 1-2 months, new colleagues take their place.
