My rather fun moon camp project would look like this:

Water, bottled water, packed and organized in crates beside the house.

Food also in crates, canned foods, food supplies, all listed.

Air, they would have inside their helmets and equipment so they can get oxygen. Also inside the rocket.

Protection, the camp itself is quite protected, both from the way from the house to the rocket and in the explorations.

A day at the camp would consist of, in the morning, eating food so you could go out and explore. In the afternoon exploration, discovering new things, walking on the moon. And at night, rest, write down everything they discovered and review, and have dinner.
