Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

Our moon base has a satelite for communication, a lunar rover for locomotion, a space rocket, a dressing room, treadmills to exercise, oxygen bottles to breath, space helmets, chests of drawers, a dinner table, beds, a kitchen, a food plantation, and a depressurization room.

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Shackleton crater

Why did you choose this location?

Because it has a lot of space and because 70% of the moon`s frozen water is there.

How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?

We will use titanium and an iron-based super elastic alloy.

Protection

By burning hydrogen and melting moon ice.

Tubercles plantation.

Solar panels, electric cables and alternators.

By burning hydrogen inside the stove.

A depressurization room, an antigravitational system and special clothes.

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

I woke up; I ate; I took care of my personal hygiene; I dressed my special suit; I checked on the solar panels; I checked if the burning hydrogen was fine; I checked and watered the stove; I had lunch; I explored a bit on the lunar rover; I came back to the base; I passed by the depressurization room; I recorded my routine on the radio; I had dinner; I went to bed.
