Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2021-2022
In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description
On our project we tried to show how a normal life would be on the moon from our point of view. So we’ve got a lunar crater that we have utilized for storing water, a greenhouse for cultives,some beds and a conference table, a machine that lets us turn water to energy and a recycle storage dumpster. |

Close to the lunar poles Why did you choose this location?
We can find ice on the lunar poles and water can help astronauts to stay longer and healthier while they are on a mission. How do you plan to build your Mooncamp? Which materials will you use?
Personally, I reckon I would use a really hard and thick plastic material to protect our base and then some sort of metal to build our machines and build up a good structure. |

Ice found on the lunar poles will be defrosted and filtered to be drinkable. |
Cultives seeds brought from earth previously. They will grow in the greenhouse. |
Hydraulic energy will be used to give them power energy. |
The dome we’ve built up would be programmed with a system that makes it a similar atmosphere as earth. |
As said before, the dome we’ve designed will be really resistant to any possible targets such as meteors or space junk. |

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts
As we do not have a time code from the Moon yet, astronauts will be using earth’s time instead. Wake up around 6.00 am to check that our machines are working just fine, check and water the cultives to make some breakfast, work on some experiments and do com exploring around the moon while tracking every territory, as some work out, others would film and vlog their experience, eat something more and contact with earth to send eather the information they have gathered or to talk with their loved ones, eat soming more and go to sleep onto another day. |
