Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2019-2020

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

Our moon camp consist a big bubble that it is our protect shield.Inside, we have some solar panels that we use to transform the solar light into solar power, a place similar to garage where we keep the spaceships, a coffee room and restaurant. With a lift we can go down to the basement where you can find bedrooms and bathrooms. The swimming pool, the sport center and de food growth chamber are set here too.

Outside of the bubble, we have a recycling plant.

There are not windows and doors, all the open system are programate with a special electronic mechanism. We have ambiental  music and optimal temperature, about 24-26 grades.
Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

On the Far side of the Moon

Why did you choose this location?

we would like to build our moon camp on the far side of the moon, because near to the lunar  equator could be hotter and near the

lunar Poles could be colder. So on the far side of the moon is the perfect area.

we would thaw the ice and with special pils that we have from the Earth, We will turner the ice water into potable water.

We carry seeds of different, vegetables and cereal and plant them into the adequate zone into the bubble, like a food growth chamber, and with the water, they will grow up.

we could change the solar light into solar power with our solar panels.

we have a special atmosphere into the bubble with a big machine .
How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?

we will built a swimming pool and sport center with gray powder that we find in the moon, and we will trasform into brick, and we would use the regolith like insulating.
The Moon environment is very dangerous for the astronauts. Explain how your Moon Camp will protect them.

we ought to protect with our bubble like a protector shield.
Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

I get up at 6:00 a.m. I have a breakfast and doing exercise during one hour. Then I go to the food growth chamber to care the vegetables and cereals.

Every day I have to do an expedition around the zone to investigate differents ways to  get materials and new areas where we are set.

I  will take severals samples to study them.

I have to checking  our security sistem.

Finally I would  come back to the bubble and make a transcription into the laptop and I would send the information to the Earth.
