Project description

The Hexa-Hive mission is planned to stay on mars for around 1.5 years and aims to study the possibility of future life on Mars.
This complete project takes in account all of the factors for this mission’s success. Since icy water is proven to exist within Mars, we chose a landing site in which water is about 1 meter deep underground. Using a drilling system that was studied thoroughly, we should be able to secure one of the most important life dependencies for our habitat.
The habitat has a shape of a flower with a hexagonal central chamber.
we will be using multiple MOXIE devices to provide us with Oxygen and will bring tanks from Earth for Nitrogen. Those two gases will first be mixed and then released into the habitat to synthesize an earth-like internal atmosphere.
When it comes to power generation, we’ll generate the needed electricity from solar panels and Kilopower reactor. In addition, our mission’s Marsonautes will have a balanced food diet that consists of MRE
