In Moon Camp Pioneers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Fusion 360. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.
Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:
There are a lot of water ice materials in the Antarctic area of the moon, which can be developed on the moon to solve the problem of drinking water and decompose water into oxygen and hydrogen. It can be said that there are many at one stroke. To solve the problem of water use on the moon, it is necessary to help carry out various kinds of lunar exploration in the future.
Meet the air and water conditions, you can build a lunar farm (artificial greenhouse), using soil and nutrient solution as a medium to grow green plants.
Solar panels will be built around the camp to collect solar energy for power storage.
Lunar soil and rocks contain a large number of minerals with high oxygen content, as well as dust and particles containing hydrogen, helium and nitrogen, which can be decomposed by chemical means to produce air for astronauts.
Explain what would be the main purpose of your Moon Camp (for example: commercial, scientific, and/or tourist purposes).
Describe a day on the Moon for your Moon Camp astronaut crew.
