Moon Camp Pioneers Gallery 2020-2021

In Moon Camp Pioneers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Fusion 360. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

The lunar camp is connected by five main sections and channels to conduct scientific research and explore the habitable environment for humans. The lunar camp will have places to rest, work, study and plant. Using (power generation system), running the entire camp through (control mode). When astronauts finish taking lunar samples, they can choose to go to the study room for analysis or to rest indoors. And the Yang room can supply some fresh vegetables.

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

he lunar pole region. There may be plenty of water ice on the moon’s north and south poles. About 70 to 80 percent of the time in the lunar polar region under the sun, solar cells can provide sufficient power for the lunar base, the polar temperature difference is small, the polar region is distributed in a large number of maria.

How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Describe the techniques and materials you would use.

Space transport. Artificial concrete. Solar panels.

The environment on the Moon is very dangerous for the astronauts. Explain how your Moon Camp will protect them.

Strong concrete is effective in preventing most damage. Satellites monitor natural disasters so astronauts can prepare for them.

Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:
Water
Food
Electricity
Air

Spaceship transport water ice if there is a moderate amount of water ice mining.

Food was grown in the Yang Fang and delivered regularly by airship.

Water is electrolysis to make hydrogen, liquefied or solidified into metals for energy, and ships deliver energy on a regular basis.

Reserve some air on Earth to carry it along, and achieve a carbon and oxygen balance through photosynthesis and electrolysis of water.

Explain what would be the main purpose of your Moon Camp (for example: commercial, scientific, and/or tourist purposes).

To test the habitable environment for human beings, carry out lunar physics experiments different from the earth’s gravity, and explore the effects of different doses of cosmic radiation on plants.

Describe a day on the Moon for your Moon Camp astronaut crew.

In the morning, I got up and went to the sun room to observe the situation, and then went to the gas control center to check whether all the equipment was working normally. Then, I went out of the exploration chamber to explore the outside of the moon and find and exploit available resources. In the afternoon, various physical experiments were carried out in the laboratory module. Check the equipment again in the evening, and then rest.
