The moon will be bombarded by meteor showers from time to time, and a protective shield made of titanium could be built over the lunar camp. Moon dust, even in small amounts, can pose a serious health hazard to astronauts, causing severe respiratory and lung damage. The suit can be sprayed with water or compounds to neutralize the charge as the astronaut passes through the airlock, thus cleaning off the dust before entering the main habitat. Our lunar camp is mainly used for scientific research.
