In Moon Camp Pioneers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Fusion 360. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

After entering the mysterious moon, our team wants to build a base protected by super shields. The base is divided into astronaut living area, food area, power supply area, oxygen area, monitoring signal receiving area, experimental area, resource mining area, collection area The area, the human detection area, and the emergency backup area are surrounded by base test vehicles, which are convenient for astronauts to move and play a role in monitoring the operation of the base. The entire base needs oxygen coverage. Oxygen generators surround each area, supplying the entire base with oxygen. The shield will be isolated from the outside world, and astronauts will not need to wear heavy space suits on the base. The grain area provides food, and the solar collector plate storage base in the power supply area ensures the normal use of each area.

2.1 Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

We intend to establish a lunar camp in the Kripke Yongtian region of the lunar south pole. Because the sun is full here, it can provide most of the energy for the lunar camp. 2.4 Explain how your Moon Camp will provide the astronauts with:
