We built a lunar camp above a crater in order to save time and resources. This structure protects the main components of the camp: electric energy storage and generators, scientific laboratories and a space dedicated to a “Garden” where to plant vegetables and store oxygen and water. The generators and electricity storage are placed on the lower floor for more protection, and they are powered by solar panels, while the Garden is on the second (green) floor. We also created two Rovers which are controlled from inside the Protection Dome (from radiation and meteorite impacts). The rovers have the function of exploring the lunar soil, their name is “Tardigrade” because as the homonym bacterium they resist the most extreme conditions. In case of meteorite impact the lower floors offer protection, food, water, electricity and oxygen until the rescue arrives.
