Because there, we can find ice and the sun is present almost all year, an essential for our solar panels and our plants. 

Moon rocks will be crushed and morphed into building materials by a massive 3D printer that will be sent back to earth afterward. More specific materials can be sent by rockets beforehand.

I woke up. The others are still sleeping so, I went to the bathroom, and I then put on my spacesuit. It was needed, since I had to go up there to the greenhouse. Doing so certainly helps to stay in good shape. I took some wheat and some soy. With these things, I will make cereals and milk. Our stock is quite low at the moment. While I was doing that, my coworkers awoke too. They thanked me for going outside and they ate with me. Ana went to the computer lab to work on the report for earth and check on the pipes to see if they are still in good condition. Noemi went to the garage and took the rover for a routine check of the quarry machines. I, Jack, did my regular workout till 12 o’clock when I had to go outside to check on the plants again. Our sports room is quite small, but we can still do push-ups, sit ups and burpees. We also jog a lot every day and do sports for at least an hour or two a day, since our muscles get weak on the moon. We usually finish our work time at 17 o’clock: we have books, beds, a tv with prerecorded movies and computers for more personal work. Sometimes, we go exploring with our rover, but not today. It’s around 21 hours in the day, I am going to sleep.
