The space base is a single storey building on the Moon. The base is designed for two people and consists of 11 rooms: a kitchen/dining area, a bathroom, a lounge/recreation area, a power generation area, a drone repair area, a control area, a waste management area, a bio-regenerative system, a garage and two bedrooms.
The main materials are steel, lunar concrete and transparent aluminium.
The kitchen is a very simple space designed to prepare and eat food. Inside the kitchen, there is an area for preserving food (fruit, vegetables, proteins, and carbohydrates) using two methods: thermostabilisation, a process of sterilisation at very high temperatures, and lyophilization, which involves freezing the food and then removing the water by sublimation.
The bathroom is equipped with all the necessary facilities, including a toilet with ventilators and a drain, as well as a space for washing.
In the recreation area, there is a gym for keeping healthy and for entertainment.
In the power generation area, electricity is supplied by a hydrogen-oxygen fuel cell system, where the reactants (hydrogen and oxygen) are delivered from external cryogenic tanks.
The control area is equipped with computers to monitor and plan operations.
The waste management area is the area where rockets and satellites launch waste into space, which disintegrates as it falls to the surface.
The bioregeneration system provides microorganisms and plants with the right light, temperature, and humidity conditions.
In the garage there is a “rover” (an electrically powered four-wheel vehicle) and everything needed to repair it.
Finally, the two bedrooms are equipped with beds and lockers for personal belongings. All furniture is bespoke and modular.
