Beskrivning av projektet

Our camp is located in the Jezero Crater on Mars, where the climate, moderate day/night temperatures, traces of former liquid water, a rich atmosphere, and an abundance of geologic features make it a unique location for our exploration of the planet. With the help of a large launch vehicle, we will safely deliver an advanced Mars rover, as well as the necessary supplies and settlers, to the Red Planet.
The design of the camp is a unique blend of technology and fantasy. The flower-shaped main body, surrounded by solid honeycomb-shaped chambers, is dreamlike on the outside and equipped with modern high-tech facilities on the inside, creating an immigrant camp that is both comfortable and efficient. Life here is self-sufficient, with water recycling, food production, and energy supply. Functional areas such as living areas, laboratories, recreation rooms, medical rooms, oxygen rooms, planting rooms, water storage rooms, control rooms, warehouses, etc. are clearly delineated to meet the various needs of the migrants’ lives.
In terms of resource supply, we utilize Martian underground water resources and use condensation technology to collect atmospheric water vapor to ensure a stable supply of water in the camp. Food, on the other hand, relies mainly on Earth supplies, supplemented by vegetables produced in the planting room and so on. For energy, we carry photovoltaic panels to the surface of Mars to convert solar energy into electricity, and utilize a thermal storage system to store solar heat during the day and release it at night and on cloudy days to supply energy needs. In addition, we use MOXIE technology to extract oxygen from the Martian atmosphere and obtain more oxygen by electrolyzing water to guarantee the respiratory needs of the migrants.
