The Moon Camp Challenge is an educational and inspirational school project that uses innovative learning technologies to challenge students to create their own space habitat.

New!  In the 2023-2024 edition, the Moon Camp Challenge has one single category. Teams can submit different types of projects in the same category.  

NY! This year your can choose different space locations in our Solar System. Your project can be based on the Moon, but also Mars, Mercury, Venus, Titan, Ganymede, or even an asteroid.

Moon Camp is an online sharing community for teams to showcase their projects related to the design of a space habitat. Teams can submit different types of projects: 

• Kunst og kunsthåndværk
• 3D-design
• 3D-printning
• Robotteknologi
• Augmented and virtual reality
• Videnskabelige eksperimenter
• Other types of projects that relate to the design of a space habitat are also eligible.

This year you can participate in the Moon Camp Challenge from 21. september 2023 til 25. april 2024.

Moon Camp is open to individuals or teams, and you can be supported by a teacher, educator or parent. The team’s mentor has to create an account and submit your project using the online submission platform.

There is no limit to the number of projects you can submit for Moon Camp Challenge.

Participation is open worldwide to teams of students aged up to 19 years old. Moon Camp Challenge is open to individuals or teams. The projects must be submitted by a teacher, educator or parent. Students attending a postsecondary/tertiary institution are not eligible to apply.

Nej, dit projekt behøver ikke at være på engelsk, du kan indsende dit projekt på et hvilket som helst sprog. Bemærk venligst, at der kan ske automatisk oversættelse af projekterne, så vi anbefaler, at du indsender dit projekt på engelsk for at undgå forkerte oversættelser. Den primære kommunikation om udfordringen vil også være på engelsk, eller automatisk oversatte e-mails.

Moon Camp is a non-competitive challenge. All individuals/teams that submit an entry that complies with the guidelines will be granted a participation certificate, their projects will be published in the gallery and these teams will be invited to participate in a final online event with an ESA astronaut and space experts.

All valid projects will be displayed on the Moon Camp online platform gallery.
