Project description

Where and what is that:

There are 5 domes in which you will find the nessecities of life on the moon. in the middle dome you find the research and development dome where more than 2 astronauts can resaearch the moon. Right uner the middle dome there is the bedroom where 2 astronauts can rest. On the right hand side of the middle dome there is the kitchen where the astronauts can eat. There aswell there is a fitness area because it is very important to keep fit especially in space. On the left hand side of the middle dome there is the green house, where the astronauts can grow their food . the crops’ area is covered in an extra dome to have extra protection just in-case.

Protection:

  • There are air locks between each dome and are activate automaticaly when one or more domes de pressurize.
  • The moon bases domes are made aluminium which protects the astronauts from radiation and also keeps heat in side.

Circulation:

There is a circulation system powered by the solar panel field outside which recycles co2 in to o2 again.

Transportation:

As the moon can be very dangerous i think the best way to keep the astronaust safe is to have a robot rover to will help the astronauts. it will bring samples for other parts of the moon to the astronauts while they are in side the safety of the domes.

Energy:

All the energy will be provided by the solar panels outside and the rovers charching station is also there.

Toilets :

There are toilets located under the beds and, yes you might think it will smell but no because the astronauts use a vacuum to do it so it wont smell at all. Once the reservoir is full the astronauts will empty it by first taking the urine reservoir and putting it the water recycling system and then the other reservoir with the ‘waste’ and use it as soil fertilizer for the plants.
