Project description

Translation:

Our lunar base was built on some high hill near the south lunar pole so that the astronauts would have easy access to a supply of ice and therefore water.

Electricity is produced by collecting solar energy from solar panels.

As for the construction material of the base, the lunar rhigolith will be used, i.e. the fine balsatic gray sand that resembles the volcanic sand of the Earth. With this sand the bricks will be made and they will build the base, like an igloo, for greater protection and resistance to the additional pressure.

Finally, in addition to the sleeping area, the bathroom, the recreation room and the research room, the astronauts are also provided with a gym. Moreover, in their daily life, there is an intensive exercise program to deal with health problems due to the reduced gravity.

Η σεληνιακή μας βάση χτίστηκε σε κάποιο ψηλό λόφο κοντά στο νότιο σεληνιακό πόλο ώστε οι αστροναύτες να έχουν εύκολη πρόσβαση στη προμήθεια πάγου και άρα νερού.

Η παραγωγή ηλεκτρικής ενέργειας γίνεται μέσω συλλογής της ηλιακής ενέργειας από ηλιακούς συλλέκτες.

Όσον αφορά στο υλικό κατασκευής της βάσης, θα χρησιμοποιηθεί ο σεληνιακός ρηγόλιθος, δηλαδή η λεπτή βαλσατική γκρίζα άμμος που μοιάζει με την ηφαιστειακή άμμο της Γης. Με αυτή την άμμο θα κατασκευαστούν τα τούβλα και θα χτίσουν την βάση, σαν ιγκλού, για μεγαλύτερη προστασία και αντοχή στην πρόσθετη πίεση.

Τέλος, στους αστροναύτες εκτός από τον χώρο για ύπνο, το μπάνιο, την αίθουσα αναψυχής και την αίθουσα ερευνών παρέχεται και ένα γυμναστήριο. Στην καθημερινότητά τους εξάλλου, υπάρχει πρόγραμμα εντατικής γυμναστικής ώστε να αντιμετωπιστούν προβλήματα υγείας εξαιτίας της μειωμένης βαρύτητας.
