Project description

Translation:

The planned lunar base will have to be built at the South Pole of the satellite and will be able to hold eight people.

It is divided into 6 main areas:

– dome containing the trees from which pipes that distribute oxygen to the whole structure start

– “greenhouse” dome in which there is a small garden to produce food and to study the reactions deriving from the absence of gravity

– “workshop” dome where the materials for the repair of landers, rovers and objects for the exploration of the lunar soil are located

– landing platform for landers

– area dedicated to water tanks and solar and photovoltaic panels

– central dome (three floors) where the astronauts eat, sleep and study

In the project everything is represented transparent, but this only serves to show the interiors, in fact everything must be covered with dust and sand from the lunar soil for protective purposes.

La base lunare progettata dovrà essere realizzata al Polo Sud del satellite e potrà contenere otto persone.

E’ divisa in 6 zone principali:

– cupola contenente gli alberi da cui partono tubi che distribuiscono ossigeno a tutta la struttura

– cupola “serra” in cui si trova un orticello per produrre cibo e per studiarne le reazioni derivanti dall’assenza di gravità

– cupola “officina” in cui si trovano i materiali per la riparazione dei lander, rover e oggetti per l’esplorazione del suolo lunare

– piattaforma per l’atterraggio dei lander

– zona dedicata ai serbatoi d’acqua e ai pannelli solari e fotovoltaici

– cupola centrale (tre piani) in cui gli astronauti mangiano, dormono e studiano

Nel progetto è tutto rappresentato trasparente, ma questo serve solo a mostrare gli interni infatti il tutto deve venir ricoperto con polvere e sabbia del suolo lunare a scopo protettivo.
