De Maanbasis bestaat uit een roze koepel die het zonlicht net voldoende moet binnenlaten om planten te laten groeien, maar niet te veel zodat ze ook niet kunnen verbranden.
De basis is op de maan geplaatst, de bruingele balk is de ingang van de basis. Die moet de lucht binnenhouden en de astronauten afstoffen alvorens ze de basis binnengaan.
Rondom liggen er zonnepanelen om de basis te voorzien van elektriciteit.
In de glazen koepel is er een bureau en een bed. Het bed staat daar zodat de astronauten bij de lange maannacht van de planten kunnen genieten om in slaap te vallen. Ze kunnen ook hun werk doen aan het bureau.
Er is een kleine kweekserre geplaats voor de babyplantjes.
De grote tunnel en bol boven de glazen koepel is waar alle andere kamers zijn. Ruimtes om te eten, te slapen, te werken, te trainen, …
De blauwe panelen rond om rond de oranje tunnel zijn communicatieantennes. Hierdoor kunnen ze makkelijk naar het thuisfront bellen of naar de GateWay of naar de collega’s op aarde.
