Moon Camp Explorers 2022 – 2023 Project Gallery

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangers of space and describe the living and working facilities in their Moon Camp.

1.1 – Project Description

Translation:

It is a base on the Moon designed to protect astronauts from the Sun, meteorites and also radiation present on the moon and allow them to study the moon.

1.2 – Why do your astronaut want to go to the Moon and build a Moon Camp?

Translation:
They go to the moon so they can study it and they build a camp so they can live on the moon to see and study any time.

ls vont sur la lune pour pouvoir l’étudier et ils construisent un camp pour pouvoir vive sur la lune pour voir et étudier n’importe quelle heure.

near the pole of the moon because there is ice and sun.

2.2 How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Describe how you can use the Moon’s natural resources, and which materials you would need to bring from Earth.

Translation:

for the dome, we will inflate the plastic to avoid the trips of large parts and also we use the lunar ground to protect us from the dangers present on the moon.

3.1 – How does your Moon Camp protect and provide shelter to your astronauts against the Moon’s harsh environment.

Then for the rest everything is under the lunar surface to protect the astronauts from the dangers he has on the moon like radiation, sun and meteorites.

Ensuite, pour le reste tout est sous la surface lunaire pour protéger les astronautes des dangers qu’il a sur la lune comme les radiations, le soleil et les météorites.

3.2 – On the Moon, resources are very scarce, but during long Moon missions, astronauts cannot rely on resupply missions from the Earth. Explain how your Moon Camp will provide astronauts with sustainable access to basic needs like water, food, air and power.

Translation:

For the astronauts to eat and drink we have small gardens and we extract water from the ice then for electricity we use solar panels finally for oxygen we separate the water to get oxygen and hydrogen.

Pour que les astronautes se nourris et boivent on a des petits jardins et on extrait l’eau de la glace ensuite pour l’électricité on utilise des panneaux solaires finalement pour l’oxygène on s’épare l’eau pour avoir de l’oxygène et de l’hydrogène.

4.1 – What would you include in your astronaut training programme, to help prepare the astronauts for a Moon mission?

Translation:

In my training to prepare the astronauts we will text their ability to repair machines, also how their body adapts to the absence of gravity, they will have to do exercises to keep them in shape and finally they will have to do texts to find out if they can go to the moon.

Dans mon entrainement pour préparer les astronautes on va texter leur capaciter a réparé des machines, aussi comment leur corps s’adapte à l’absence de graviter, ils vont devoir effectuer des exercices pour qu’ils restent en forme et finalement ils vont devoir faire des textes pour savoir s’ils peuvent aller sur la lune.
