Moon Camp Explorers 2022 – 2023 Project Gallery

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangers of space and describe the living and working facilities in their Moon Camp.

1.1 – Project Description

Translation:

Dj Luna is a project that consists of a lunar camp for 2 astronauts with food and drinks for 5 months. It also has all kinds of technology which allows you to do all kinds of sports. So that you don’t get bored during the mission, you will have 5G Wi-Fi with computers, tablets, mobile phones and more devices. They will also have solar panels to have electricity.

Dj Luna es un proyecto que consiste en un campamento lunar de 2 astronautas con comida y bebida para 5 meses.También tiene todo tipo de tecnología la cual permite hacer todo tipo de deporte.Para que no se aburran durante la misión tendrán un wifi de 5G con ordenadores, tablets,móviles y más artefactos.Además tendrán placas solares para tener electricidad.

1.2 – Why do your astronaut want to go to the Moon and build a Moon Camp?

Translation:

My astronaut wants to go to the Moon and build a lunar camp to test life on it. They want to go to the Moon because scientists deduce that within millions and millions of years the earth will be uninhabitable due to pollution and they have no other planet in which to inhabit.

2.2 How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Describe how you can use the Moon’s natural resources, and which materials you would need to bring from Earth.

Translation:

We plan to build it with a capsule to live in, a rocket to go to and from the Moon, some solar panels that we take advantage of on the floor of the Moon and also give light to the capsule and finally a car/scout for the Moon to search for. more ground.

Nosotros pensamos construirlo con una cápsula donde poder habitar,un cohete para ir y volver de la Luna,unas placas solares que nos aprovechamos del piso de la Luna y también dan luz a la cápsula y por último un coche/ojeador de la Luna para buscar más terreno.

3.1 – How does your Moon Camp protect and provide shelter to your astronauts against the Moon’s harsh environment.

Our lunar camp protects the astronaut so that inside the capsule they will be well sheltered and outside they have a car/scout to see the terrain and discover what is on the other side of the Moon.

4.1 – What would you include in your astronaut training programme, to help prepare the astronauts for a Moon mission?

Translation:

Make a new pod with all sorts of electronics and food and drink for a long time and also make a car/scout to explore while there without ever leaving the pod.
