Moon Camp Explorers 2022 – 2023 Project Gallery

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangers of space and describe the living and working facilities in their Moon Camp.

1.1 – Project Description

Translation:

We liked this job a lot, since we didn’t have rules to follow, it has been very creative. We have loved being able to use the shapes we want and the colors that represent us from our childhood (J: pink, A: blue, É: purple). It is true that our work looks more like a small children’s playground than a moon base but we have done our best to make it look great.

En este trabajo nos ha gustado mucho, ya que no teníamos unas normas que seguir, ha sido muy creativo. Nos ha encantado poder usar las formas que quisiéramos y los colores que nos representan desde nuestra infancia (J: rosa, A: azul, É: morado). Es cierto que nuestro trabajo parece más un parque de niños pequeños que una base lunar pero hemos hecho lo posible para que quede genial.

1.2 – Why do your astronaut want to go to the Moon and build a Moon Camp?

Translation:

Our astronaut is an intrepid explorer who always thought there was life on other planets, and for this she decided to investigate the moon and create the trip with her companions.

2.2 How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Describe how you can use the Moon’s natural resources, and which materials you would need to bring from Earth.

Translation:

We have built it in a fun and colorful way, we have needed many materials from the earth, since these resources do not exist on the moon.

Lo hemos construido de una forma divertida y colorida, hemos necesitado muchos materiales de la tierra, ya que en la luna no existen esos recursos.

3.1 – How does your Moon Camp protect and provide shelter to your astronauts against the Moon’s harsh environment.

3.2 – On the Moon, resources are very scarce, but during long Moon missions, astronauts cannot rely on resupply missions from the Earth. Explain how your Moon Camp will provide astronauts with sustainable access to basic needs like water, food, air and power.

From the earth our astronauts have brought many resources and if they lack food they have a golden button like the Got Talent so that the earth sends them supplies.

Desde la tierra nuestros astronautas han traído muchos recursos y si les falta alimento tienen un botón dorado como el de Got Talent para que la tierra les envíe suministros.
