In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangers of space and describe the living and working facilities in their Moon Camp.

We have built the moon camp at the lunar pole of the moon to find good temperature for our astronauts and in our design we have constructed shelter for the the astronauts to stay and this shelter is designed to protect the astronauts from radiation of the sun .We have also built a greenhouse which will be used to grow food for the astronauts and at the same way it will provide oxygen for astronauts .We also have solar panels which will be used to produce electricity using the sun as the source, there are also Batteries that will keep the power collected and connecting wires to supply it to the astronauts shelter for lighting and use of communication with people on earth . There is also a laboratory where astronauts will be able to conduct experiments and there satellites to be used for communication with the earth. There is also a water tank which will be used for drinking water and and the watering of the plants in the green house .There also robots which will be used for transportation and carrying heavy materials they will be empowered by the solar energy of sun.
The Moon will provide astronauts with new views of early Earth,they would understand how the solar system was formed and it will help them to know what the future will be like .
Close to the lunar poles
We have built our moon camp close to the lunar north pole this is a perfect spot for a moon base because it is in near constant sunlight and not far from suspected stores of water ice .This will therefore protect the astronauts from harsh sunlight which can cause burns, since the site is also not too far from the suspected stores of water ice it will enable the astronauts to easily have access to the water.
We have used natural resources like water to irrigate the plants for the astronauts to be able to grow food and the same for oxygen to be supplied in the shelters ,we have also used natural resources like sunlight to get solar energy for the lighting and for the communication. We have also used natural resources like the soil to grow the crops for astronauts .We need to bring materials like building materials ,water ,communication devices ,signal flares ,solar powered FM, First Aid Kit,parachute silk,pounds of oxygen, stella map of the moon.
Our moon camp is designed to protect the astronauts against the moon harsh environment by providing shelter which is resistance to radiation and the astronauts have to also put on astronaut suits that will also protect them from radiation.the shelter also ability to reflect the light from the sun .this will help to avoid harsh temperatures inside the astronauts shelter.inside the shelter there are also machines that will help to tell the astronauts what kind of temperature they are experiencing outside the shelter .Not only that the shelter will also protect the astronauts from meteorites which can cause skin injuries and burns .
Our moon camp is designed to provide resources such as water by digging the water ice and later treat it so that it can be suitable for drinking .This will allow the astronauts to get water for a long time without relying of the earth’s resupply .The camp will also provide resources such as food which will be grown in the green house and the water which the astronauts get can be used to irrigate the crops .This will allow the grow of different kinds of crops on the moon .The moon camp will also enable astronauts get electricity using the solar panels that get energy from the sun .
We would like to add an enhanced communication training .This will help the astronauts to get familiar with the communication equipment and also what they can do if communication breaks done .If the astronauts are given such training they will be able to keep up their communication with the earth
