In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Strategia: sfruttare il ghiaccio per creare l’habitat del campo lunare con tecniche simili utilizzate nelle costruzioni terrestri polari.

L’habitat è composto da un modulo igloo all’interno, la temperatura costante viene mantenuta anche con l’uso di una struttura a strati leggeri per mantenere confortevole la superficie di contatto interna. La produzione di ossigeno e cibo viene elaborata mediante una serra esterna e una serra sotterranea con tecnica idroponica.
