In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Why did you choose this location?

My moon base is in the polar region. There are a kitchen, dining room, bedroom, generator room, workplace. The temperature difference in the lunar polar region is not as high as in other places, it is not unbearable, and is relatively more suitable for human habitation. And there are only days and no nights in the polar regions. More suitable for plant growth. This can grow a lot of vegetables and fruits for the astronauts to eat

Water can be mined by lunar excavators, recycled by water recycling machines, and transported from earth. Water on the moon we can use it to prevent solar radiation, for astronauts to drink and eat, and to provide energy for plants.

We can bring a lot of different kinds of food from the earth to the moon, but it will be eaten up soon, so we have to grow it ourselves

As for electricity, we can use solar panels to absorb the energy of the sun and convert it into electricity, and there is also a large battery to store the energy for power supply at night. Electricity is used by astronauts to use computers and other equipment

Growing plants produces a lot of oxygen, which is good for astronauts.The earth can be used to transport oxygen cylinders. To make oxygen. You can also electrolyze water by making oxygen
How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?

I’ll have  robot use the lunar soil to help build the base through 3D printing
The Moon environment is very dangerous for the astronauts. Explain how your Moon Camp will protect them.

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

As a professional astronaut. On the moon, we can have a big breakfast. After breakfast we had to work, and I found the moon’s resources very interesting. Since most of the polar regions are in the morning, we have to make a dark environment to sleep. Because a day on the moon is 28 days on the earth, we have to get up, eat breakfast, and then work. It looks like day outside, but it’s time we went to sleep. We have to repeat the same thing 28 times. I really want to see other creatures on the moon
