Moon Camp Explorers Gallery 2019-2020

In Moon Camp Explorers each team’s mission is to 3D design a complete Moon Camp using Tinkercad. They also have to explain how they will use local resources, protect astronauts from the dangerous of space and describe the living and working facilities.

Project description

1.Our project is based on the question:“How can astronauts live on the moon?”

2.Our moon base has five functional rooms, a bedroom, a garage, a diner, an energy lab and a greenhouse

3.We have six “Supermega” Star Destroyer to protect us from comets

Where do you want to build your Moon Camp?

Close to the Lunar Poles

Why did you choose this location?

First of all, the temperature is warmer, it is between -50’c~0’c

Second, the sunlight is enough for us.

Last but not least, you can enjoy beautiful sunset.

Water
Food
Electricity
Air

Water Recycle System

Greenhouse

Energy Lab or JNK Power Droid

Electrolysis Oxygen Machine, Plant Oxygen Machine and Emergency Oxygen Supply Machine

How do you plan to build your Moon Camp? Which materials would you use?

We will use Lunar Soil and titanium, because it can release air when it heat, and we can use titanium to protect the base

The Moon environment is very dangerous for the astronauts. Explain how your Moon Camp will protect them.

First of all, we have “Supermega”Meteor Destroyer to protect us from meteors, our base is firm enough to avoid meteors, too.

Second, our base’s Solar Energy board can protect us from the radiation of the sun.

Last but not least, the astronauts have jet pack on their back, they can avoid meteors by flying to other place

Describe a day on the Moon for one of your Moon Camp astronauts

Space Shuttle Trooper: Safeguard the troop from meteors.

Greenhouse Scientist: Plant and grow the plants.

Chef: Cooking delicious meal for astronauts.

Energy Scientist: Control the solar power, oxygen, and water supply system.

Inspector: Check the system and find out the problem if there are something wrong with it.

Astronaut: Do the experiments.
