Project description
The rover has 20 (it’s pretty much 40 as one wheel is made our of two for reinforcements) wheels which rotate every direction, they can either sync (the middle one will not sync), half sync (two sections sync together), or not sync at all for perfect maneuvering.
The rovers wheels are stretched out to navigate rocky terrain, made from tungsten and carbon fibre sprayed black and white.
The robot has 20 satellites for picture to send back in 60 days. The cameras have 200 megapixel 1080p video 4k camera.
The rover has a 6.5 litre v12 engine, producing 1139 horsepower, with individual mechanisms connecting to each of the 20 wheels.
The rover adds up to a whopping 1.7 billion pounds (currency) because of how thought out and precise it is.
The sheer amount of carbon fibre and tungsten also adds up to a couple of million (6.2 million) pounds as of how much carbon fibre and tungsten costs, it is also specifically engineered and built for this rover by a professional (who got paid 1.1 million pounds).
The rover is 11.5 feet tall, 16 feet wide, 8 feet wide the other way coming in at about 11,000 pounds .
