Project description

In this project about the moon we had three main requirements: how to have oxygen, store of the main needs (food, water…etc) and personal space. For this we decided to build a greenhouse with plants for having oxygen. The greenhouse have a small capsule next to it for expulsing the CO2. The oxygen is mixed with other gases for transforming it to the air we are used to breath. It is transported to the hole structure by tubes which apart of transporting the air they renew it every 15 minutes. The greenhouse is connected to the laboratory. There is where the astronauts could analyze samples of materials they found in the moon and investigate about it. The laboratory has a pyramid shape and on the upper part there is an antenna for having a better connection with the satelites, this is useful for the machines used there. The laboratory also has windows around it for looking what is happening around of it. A rocket and a storage room are also connected to it. The rocket was used to went to the moon and for making travells when it is necessary. The storage room is placed on the opposite side of the laboratory. In there food, water, and other essential utensils can be stored. It is half circle-shaped, it is made of a outerlayer of glass and metals for it to be resistant. For people to sleep we have designed a circle-shaped structure. In there we could find individual rooms with toilets and a common kitchen for preparing food. Next to it there a underground little room called “emergency room”, as the name indicates this is a room to held in if there is an accident. It is built with very resistant materials so it can endure hard hits.
