Project description

Our work is located on Mars, the fourth planet of the solar system, and is characterized by being desertic and cold, being able to reach in the daytime in the equator, in summer 20ºC and at night a temperature of -80ºC. It is also called the red planet, because it is composed of iron oxide. The gravity on Mars is 3.71 m/s², so it is lower than on Earth. This camp is designed to survive for a total of 300 days. This time, we will explore the planet with the car. The camp is separated into sections. The inner part is composed of the greenhouse (in which food will be grown), in this way, we will be able to grow our own crop. Then there is the water tank, from where we will take the water to drink it. The house, and the storage and there will also be a car in which we will transport blocks of ice from the outside to the water deposit. The entire inner part will be protected by a transparent canopy and all sections will be connected by tubes containing oxygen and ventilation systems. On the outside is the rocket, which has a platform for easy access.
