4KR thought carefully about what astronauts might need in a moon-based habitat and made sketches of what these habitats might look like. Some of the designs were on the surface of the moon and some were underground or in lava tubes. 4KR each chose one of their sketches and created these in 3d using Tinkercad. They learnt how to use, duplicate, scale, join and hole different 3d shapes. They then chose solid or transparent colours for the main 3d structures. Each child then made screenshots of their 3d model and their hand-drawn sketch.
