Project description
We named our lunar camp “Space Bridge”. We think that our camp will be a bridge to space research in more distant regions. Because we know projects related to this. The camp was built on the edge of a benchmark in the southern sphere of the Moon. Because this zone is more favorable in terms of living conditions, research and resources. Camp is designed for 6 astronauts can live and work for 6 months. It has two floors and four rooms. The building is made of concrete construction material using lunar soil (regolith). The windows and greenhouse glass are made of composite glass material designed to refract the harmful rays of the sun. The camp includes: the base camp, the natural light greenhouse, the rocket launch base, the construction material production and the communication building. The communication building is located on the top floor of the construction material production building and has the main satellite on it. Inside the crater, there is an ice melting facility, a green hydrogen production facility, and a hydrogen and oxygen storage facility. The crater is accessed by elevator. It was built based on the elevator system used by miners. Thus, it was tried to build a highly efficient system that works with few material. A meteorite defense system has been created to defend the camp against meteorites. This system consists of special satellites placed around the Moon, called meteorite defense vehicles. These satellites can detect approaching asteroids with their sensor systems and destroy them with the weapon system on them. We got this idea from the work done by NASA on this subject. The camp is designed to be self-sufficient. Initially, some necessary materials will be brought from Earth. First, a construction material production facility will be set up. Worker machines will collect the raw material, which will be used to produce construction materials with giant 3D printers. The camp has one natural light greenhouse and two mixed light greenhouses. In these greenhouses, practical research will be carried out on soilless agriculture, natural and artificial light agriculture, living creatures in low gravity conditions, regolith soil agriculture, and species growing with organic waste. There is a giant aquarium in the camp. In this aquarium, we want to conduct experiments on aquatic creatures that can live in low gravity and in water obtained from ice on the moon. The camp has basic biology, chemistry, geology and archaeology laboratories. In these laboratories, we want to investigate the biological structures, microorganisms, geological and archaeological structure of the Moon. We want to do lunar mining. We want to extract gases like hydrogen, helium and metals like gold, platinum, aluminum, titanium. We want to use these minerals for further space exploration. We plan to convert the ice on the Moon into liquid form and electrolyze it; we plan to use the oxygen we obtain for respiration; we plan to store and enrich hydrogen and use it to make rocket fuel.
