Está base lunar tiene como misión obtener un lugar de entrenamiento y preparación para futuras misiones interplanetarias, como viajes a Marte u otros cuerpos celestes. La Luna ofrece un entorno relativamente cercano y controlable para simular condiciones espaciales extremas y probar tecnologías y estrategias de supervivencia.
Esta base lunar se construiría en las regiones polares de la Luna ya que en estas zonas se encuentran áreas permanentemente sombreadas donde se cree que hay depósitos de agua helada. Estos depósitos de agua podrían ser cruciales para sostener la vida humana y la producción de combustible para misiones espaciales.
Hemos elegido este nombre por que combina elementos que evocan tanto la historia de la exploración espacial como la idea de conexión y convergencia hacia el futuro.
“Apolo Nexus” transmite la idea de una base lunar que honra el legado del Programa Apolo mientras se prepara para el próximo paso en la exploración espacial más allá de nuestro sistema.

The mission of this lunar base is to obtain a training and preparation place for future interplanetary missions, such as trips to Mars or other celestial bodies. The Moon offers a relatively close and controllable environment to simulate extreme space conditions and test technologies and survival strategies.
This lunar base would be built in the polar regions of the Moon since in these areas there are permanently shadowed areas where it is believed that there are deposits of frozen water. These water reservoirs could be crucial for sustaining human life and producing fuel for space missions.
We have chosen this name because it combines elements that evoke both the history of space exploration and the idea of connection and convergence towards the future.
“Apollo” refers to NASA’s Apollo Program, which landed the first humans on the Moon and symbolizes the pioneering spirit of space exploration.
“Nexus” suggests a point of union or connection between different places and moments in space and time. In this case, it represents the connection between the Moon and future interplanetary missions, as well as the convergence of human exploration in the cosmos.
“Apollo Nexus” conveys the idea of a lunar base that honors the legacy of the Apollo Program while preparing for the next step in space exploration beyond our system.
