Pinewood American International School Thessaloniki Thessaloniki-Thessaloniki Greece 14 years old 6 / 3 English Moon
Project description
In the moon camp, the exterior has an greenhouse, which is vital for producing air and food for our team. Alongside, there is a communication device that receives messages from Earth, bouncing them back to us. Additionally, the satellite plays a crucial role in this communication network by powering the communication device with its solar panels. Meanwhile, the drill is instrumental in extracting water from the Shackleton crater, providing us with essential drinking resources, among other uses such as oxygen, or chemical components for Rocket Fuel alongside Radiation shielding & temperature regulation. Furthermore, the radio tower enhances our communication capabilities by transmitting messages to the Communication Device and Satellite, which then relay these messages back to Earth.
In the moon settlement, there’s a gym with treadmills and weights. Next door, the computer lab has computers, desks, and chairs. The kitchen is stocked with a fridge, cabinet, sink, toaster, and dishwasher. The bedrooms each have beds and alarm clocks. There’s a combined living room and bedroom with a couch, armchair, and television, with three of these rooms in total. Lastly, the bathroom has toilets, sinks, and a shower.
