Voor dit project hebben we ons eerst ingelezen over de Melkweg. Vervolgens hebben we eigenschappen van planeten vergeleken en hieruit is gebleken dat Mars een groot stralingsprobleem had. Deze hebben wij opgelost doormiddel van een combinatie van stoffen die de hoeveelheid straling op Mars volledig tegenhoudt. Dit konden wij weten door verschillende berekeningen die wij hebben uitgevoerd. Ten slotte hebben wij ons eind ontwerp uitgewerkt.

For this project we first read up on the Milky Way. We then compared properties of planets and this showed that Mars had a major radiation problem. We have solved this using a combination of substances that completely blocks the amount of radiation on Mars. We were able to know this through various calculations that we performed. Finally, we developed our final design.
