Project description

Our team name is called “The Last Explorer.” In the selected planet of Mars and the plain of the equator in the northern hemisphere of Mars, we use the “petal form” to build the ground camp. The design of this camp is designed to diversify the functions of the camp and meet the five different uses of life, scientific research, office, medical treatment and diet. The temperature difference between day and night of Mars is large, and the atmosphere is thin and cannot resist space radiation, water, electricity and oxygen resources are short, which may be hit by meteorites at any time. Therefore, to build a camp on Mars, we need to solve the six basic problems of water, electricity, oxygen, radiation, impact and temperature difference. So we solve the problem of water, electricity, oxygen and other resources through the imitation petal vein pipe supply. At the same time in order to prevent space radiation and impact, according to the paper we are expected to use ion shield strength shield double shield mode to protect the camp, in order to reflect the scientific research function we will choose the location in some dead volcano near Mars, not only can get resources, and give play to the role of scientific research, through the above methods to ensure the astronauts can in Mars the basic conditions of survival and scientific research.

The first thing is innovation, in oxygen production, we talk about genetically modified plants to strengthen the genes that express photosynthesis to ensure the supply of oxygen.

Second, in the power system, we use dual power generation (solar power and nuclear power energy) supply, which complement each other to ensure the stability of the power system.

The third point of innovation is the use of ion shield and force field shield to prevent radiation and impact, both of which are high and new technologies initially mastered by human beings at present, and have good future prospects.

Innovation fourth, the overall base is the petal type is not only beautiful but also can prevent dust accumulation to the greatest extent (with the synthetic material FRP (FRP) use).

Base current structure is composed of five petals evenly distributed on the ground as the main body, the rocket, nuclear power plant, solar panels, vehicle, the lighthouse distribution outside the main building, and use ion shield to protect the camp, force field shield to prevent impact, by nuclear power plant, solar energy supply, genetic transformation plants provide oxygen, digging groundwater provide water, and through the pipeline transportation, build function diversity, safe and comfortable camp.
